Skaffade 3 lohmnhönor 2 araucanor 1legbartupp .De fick ett nybyggt hönshus.Så bestämde sig en araucana för att ruva så hon fick 2ägg från lohmanhönorna,båda kläcktes ,jag gjorde en bur till dem ,hönan verkar vara en prakt mamma.måste man ha värmelampa ändå? vad ska kycklingarna äta ,hur länge ska de vara tillsamans med mamman.Araucana nr2 har också lagt sig men om äggen inte är befruktade hur länge ska hon ligga?Om de blir kycklingar , kan man sätta ihop familjerna i samma bur? ???

jag hade nog haft en värmelampa nu när de är så kallt, de är rätt varmt under mamman, men när de sen går för att äta och dricka så blir de nog rätt kalla, mamman visar kycklingarna så de hittar alltid mat, blanda in lite starfoder/ägg, undelatfrö, lite brödsmulor (de har jag gett mina kycklingar) med de andra hönornas mat så de oxå kan picka i sig lite,
det hade varit kanske bra att ha dem redan tillsammans så de inte börjar bråka. Mina bråkade om vem som skulle sköta kycklingarna och de stal kycklingar ifrån varann. men det betyder inte att dina kommer göra det hehe:)

om de inte är befruktade, det finns vissa hönor som är väldig envisa och kan nog ligga länge, min ena höna och låg till dag 21-22, inget kläcktes sen gick hon där ifrån.

Hur har det gått för dina araucana-mammor:-) ? Var de duktiga m kycklingarna?
Måste vara ovanligt att ha två av två araucanor som lägger sig att ruva?
