I slutet säger berättaren något som är helt nytt för mig.
Han verkar påstå att ett yngel som hållits vid 1,5 graders
högre temperatur blir ett samlarbi som lever tio gånger
längre, då jämfört med ett husbi.
Det bryter mot den vanliga "teorin" att alla arbetsbin går igenom
olika stadier husbi,..,vaktbi och avslutar sitt liv som samlare.
Är det nya rön ?

Ja, det lutar åt det. Har för mig att gode herr Nehman snuddade vid ämnet på ett föredrag. Att bin är långt mer predestinerade till sitt "yrke" än vad man tidigare trott. Att ett bisamhälle har en flexibel "arbetsmarknad" för att kunna möta behov och efterfrågan. (känns nästan deppigt att göra den torra liknelsen)
Detta kommet ur ny teknik där man limmar fast små chip på bin i kupan, och verkligen kan studera deras rörelser, temperaturer, med mera.
Sen är det ju så med forskning, att det tar tid innan publicering sker. Men det lär säkert komma...? ha det gott!
