Ja förutom att äta upp alltihop snabbt, hur ska jag förvara det.
I frysen, eller blir det dåligt då?

Den nesten allvitende John Seymour sier at røkt mat taper seg mye ved frysing.
Røking er jo dessuten en konserveringsprosess i seg selv. Hvis forarbeid samt salt- og fuktinnhold er bra, skal kjøtt kunne holde seg i årevis.

När vi har ätit det vi "ska" när det är nyrökt, delar jag upp i lagom bitar som går åt inom nån vecka, slår in dom omsorgsfullt i gladpack, dubbel folie och sen ner i plastpåsar i frysen. Sen kan man i lugn och ro hämta upp en bit då och en då...
P.S Testa att finhacka rökt kött och blanda med gräddfil, majonnäs och pepparrot! Mmmmmmm....
Hur god förrätt som helst, tillsammans med nån brödbit, tex flatbröd.

Varför inte göra en potatisgratäng med MASSOR av vitlök och sen i med köttstrimlor.. :P
Eller ta vad som finns rotfrukter och pumpa och steka ihop.
Vad jag vet så går det bra att frysa, bara man förpackar väl.
Visst tappar det lite smak men det funkar nog bra. Man kanske inte skall lägga finkakorna jämte.....
Jag lyckades göra detta misstag med makrill som vi lyckats röka lite väl hårt....
