Det verkar som att vi kommer få ta över en släktings gård inom några år och vi får äntligen möjlighet att utöka gårdsfaunan och dessutom odla vårt eget foder. Det är 16 ha öppen mark varav allt är plöjbart och jag räknar med att hälften blir mer eller mindre permanent betesmark. minst 2 hästar, 2 kor med kalvar, gäss och grisar är bestämt. Får vore också trevligt men det får vänta.
Vi arbetar båda heltid och djuren tar ju en hel det tid i sig, så vi vill såklart begränsa själva jordbruket till ett minimum och odla så mångsidiga foder som möjligt.
Vad rekommenderar ni för växtföljd, spannmål, val av fröblandningar med givna förutsättningar?
Att tillskott måste köpas eller odlas i mindre skala vid sidan om är ok, men det vore skönt med 2-4 grödor man kunde skörda och lagra i bulk och som fungerar bra som basföda till alla djuren.
