Hejsan!
Jag har här i Finland försökt få tag på en spaltmaskin för skinn. Men dom som fanns hann bli sålda. Jag har försökt hitta någon i Sverige, men bara hittat en som mest verkar vara för mindre skinn, storlek bälten och sånt.
Är det någon som vet någon i Sverige som säljer såna maskiner? I första hand begagnade, men även nya.

Nej, men hittar du nån som säljer, så säg gärna till. En sån skulle jag oxå ha användning av. :)

Det fanns ju en massa små garverier i trakten kring Karleby och Nedervetil på 50-talet. De har slutat nästan allihop. Jag skulle vara förvånad om det inte går att hitta någon gammal rostig maskin som står i något uthus.
De hade väl spaltmaskiner på den tiden hoppas jag?

Jodå, dom hade spaltmaskiner på 50-talet. Vi är väl inte direkt intresserade av rostiga renoveringsobjekt. Hittar man inget annat får man ju titta på såna, men det vore trevligt om den fungerade utan renovering.

Och dessa maskiner var dessutom ena riktiga monster... ;) Tre-fyra meter breda och en och en halv meter djupa. I alla fall inget som jag har plats med... ::)
Det måste ju finnas nåt mellanting mellan sadelmakarnas små bänk-spalt-maskiner och fabrikernas jätte-monster...
