Hej, eftersom jag är ganska ny så uppstår alltid någon fråga som kanske för er erfarne låter galet men jag måste fråga. Hur vet ni att slaktad höna kan ätas, alltså att den är inte suk? Är det vid några sjukdomar som man kan ändå äta deras kött eller kan man inte äta vid inga alls? Hur vet man säkert? Vad händer om man äter kött av sjuk höna?

Om hönan är pigg, har god aptit , gott hull och normal avföring är hon troligen frisk. Givetvis måste köttet hettas upp ordentligt, men det gäller ju även köpe-kyckling.

När man slaktar så tar man ju även ut inälvorna. Jag brukar alltid kolla att lever, hjärta osv ser normalt ut och att det inte finns bölder och liknande.
