men jag har funderat hit och dit på det här: om man har en liten grupp renrasiga höns med tupp och vill behålla hönsen renrasiga, kan man blanda in andra grupper med tillhörande tuppar utan att dom hoppar på dom andra hönsen och tar sej ett tjyvnyp?Håller dom sej till sitt eget harem, eller vad händer?

Kan ge ett knasigt svar ;) så länge du inte avlar på dom så går det bra då håller dom sig rasrena ;D annars får du räkna med 99%blandningar, ett alternativ är att dela av i fähuset//Lycka till! o:)

Tupparna blir lyckliga av fler hönor ;) De gör upp rangordningen och blandar sig sedan hej vilt och bildar nya små grupper. Men grupperna ändras hela tiden och tupparna försöker para sig med så många hönor som möjligt. De bryr sig inte om vilken ras de tillhör. Så det går absolut inte. Vill man ha rena höns måste de hållas väl åtskilda. I alla fall under avelstiden.

Du kan ju ha flera raser som lägger ägg med olika färg...
Men bara en tupp...av den rasen som du absolut vill hålla rasren!

Hehe, det var som jag misstänkte då. Ja det får bli en Hedemoratupp till alltså! En färggrann en, mina flickor (Sigrid 1,2 och 3) är blå eller lavendel, kan inte avgöra riktigt, och tuppen (Lars-Willy efter min egen och sambons pappa) likså, med guldigt på halsen ;)
