Har en Svensk gul ank-trio, men vi får inte många ägg - och dom vill inte ruva..... Vad gör vi ?
Måste de ha värpfoder ?
Dom är nu 2 år gamla och vi har aldrig fåt ällingar .......

de borde komma igång med äggläggningen snart... vill de inte ruva så kläck i kläckare...mvh..

Svensk gul anka ska lägga många ägg, i normalfallet. Vad får de för foder? Är äggen befruktade, kanske är det fel på draken, så att äggen inte befruktas? Då blir det såklart inga ällingar.
Svensk gul anka ska väl vara mindre ruvningsbenägen än en del av de andra lantraserna, om jag inte missminner mig. Det är därför de lägger många ägg.
Värpfoder ökar äggläggningen även hos ankor, så om inget annat hjälper kan du ju prova med det.
De har väl fri tillgång på snäckskal? Annars kan de inte värpa, ankans skelett urlakas på kalk om hon inte får kalktillskott i form av snäckskal.
Berätta gärna mer om deras levnadsförhållanden och bakgrund, så kanske vi kan komma på vad som kan åtgärdas.
