Hej!
Nu har vi haft andra kullen i rad med stridshöns, GES o MES, som kläckt på 18:e dagen...?
37,5 o 40%rf i ruvaren, stadigt o fint. När det varit dags att sluta rulla och lägga till kläckning har det redan varit stjärnor, och alla har kommit ut samma dag. 100% kläckning. Har någon varit med om detta? Känns lite nervöst, eftersom man inte vill att de ska ligga för torrt och rullas för länge, samtidigt som man då inte har en aning om när man ska lägga dem till kläckning. Man vill ju kanske inte låta dem ligga stilla från 15:e dagen i hög fukt...

Spontant skulle jag gissa att eran kläckare ruvar med något högre temp än diplayen visar. Det är inte ovanligt att dvärghöns kläcker lite tidigare än dag 21 men 18 är tidigt. Du har inte möjlighet att testa kläckaren med en annan kalibrerad termometer eller kläcka några ägg som du vet kläcktiden på.
Jag har tex Chabo som kläcker tidigt. Dag 19 eller 20 när de övriga kycklingarna kläcker på dag 21. Har just nu ett provkläck i en begagnad kläckare inhandlad till vår hönsklubb. Chabo lades i den samtidigt som några andra ägg lades i min vanliga kläckare. Det var kläck i tisdags. Följdaktligen skulle Chaborna kläckts i söndags eller måndags.... Dom har fortfarande inte kläckt men äggen lever. När jag kollade kläckaren med en kalibrerad termometer så visade den 25.5. Chaboäggen är med andra ord ruvade med 2 grader för låg temp.... Vi får se om de kläcker eller om dom dör.... dom är inne på dag 24 nu...
Om nu din kläckare ruvar med låt os säga 0,5 grad för hög temp så kan det vara orsaken till det tidiga kläcket.
