Den hittades i Blekinge skärgård. Den har varit mycket vanlig här nere i kustbandet. Jag känner till ankor från Ungskär (därifrån härstammar lantrasklubbens Blekingeankor) och från Hanö. Vi har haft en del sådana ankor sedan många år innan lantrasklubben "hittade" dem. Det är trevliga ankor. Värper bra, ruvvilliga, duktiga mödrar, väldigt lättfödda och de är delikata i grytan. Det handlar om ankor som funnits mycket, mycket länge i landet och som inte korsats med så mycket "nytt". Kom de ursprungligen från Sverige eller Tyskland? Handlar det inte bara om vem som "hittade" (typ registrerade) dem först?
