Nu när jag sitter så många timmar med mina höns så upptäcker jag varje dag ngt nytt. Såg en konstig plupp-körtel övanför rumpan mellan alla fjäderar på ryggen liksom. När dom putsa sig så gned dom sig där och sen på kroppen etc etc. Jag blir så nyfiken. Har tuppar oxå en sån här körtel?? Vad e den den utsöndrar? Eller vad e detta?? :)

det är en körtel som utsöndrar fett. Fettet använder hönsen till att fetta in fjäderdräkten med. Även tuppar har en sån.
