Hej!
Är lite nybörjare kan man säga eftersom jag än så länge bara har två kycklingar...
Ser på nyheterna idag om spolmask i ägg och det låter ju inget vidare - vad jag undrar är: Ser man om ägget har mask i sig när man lyser det?

Förmodligen om du har vita ägg i varje fall. Men det finns ingen anledning att vara hysterisk. Det händer extremt sällan (jag har ätit mina egna olysta ägg i nästan 15 år och aldrig sett det och jag använder lätt 4-8ägg/dag i matlagning.
Dessutom är spolmask artspecifikt och hönans mask kan inte leva i oss människor.
Finns ingen anledning till oro med andra ord...

Egentligen är jag inte så himla orolig själv, men mina barn kommer att se nyheterna och ställa hundra frågor misstänker jag ;)
Själv har jag läst till djurvårdare och jobbat med djur i både djurpark och på gårdar och vet, att på nyheterna, där blir allt så HIMLA stort att Svenska folket skiter ner sig för minsta sak.
Nu kan jag i varjefall säga till mina ungar att jag frågat...och så har vi med detta svar kanske lugnat några till :)
En glad påsk önskas och ät mycket ägg! :D

Måste fråga vidare.........
Om det skulle finnas mask i ett kläck-ägg, blir kycklingen då automatisk smittad eller klarar sej inte fostret. Finns det nån forskning på detta????
Jag är "helgrön" på fjäderä och vill lära mej så mycker som möjligt. En spolmask i ett litet ägg är ju ganska mycket med tanke på hur det smittar bland andra djurslag.

Skulle inte tro att en kyckling utvecklas i ett ägg med en mask i... Masken vispar nog runt lite för mycket innan den dör...
