Är denna enkla typ av byggsten praktiskt användbar i Sverige om man jämför med konventionella alternativ?

Det har byggts hus av stampad lera/jord så det är nog absolut möjligt.
Misstänker dock att man lär bli rätt led på att göra alla tusentals stenar som behövs till ett hus.
Framhåller fortfarande trä som det bästa alternativet i detta land.

Du kan jämföra med råsten/obränd tegel som sitter i väggarna på många hus i Skåne bl a. Med eller utan korsvirke.
Funkar fint och är billigt.

Vårt hus är byggt av "lersten", dvs. obrända tegelstenar. Det har stått här sen 1885 och kommer förhoppningsvis att stå ett bra tag till.
Ingen korsvirkesstomme. Träpanel på utsidan.
