Imorgon är dag 20 för min ruvhöna. Hon ligger i en kaninbur, 50x150 cm, kan inte komma ut själv. Hon har mat och vatten där men verkar inte röra det om jag inte lyfter ut henne på marken. Jag har lyft ut henne varje dag, under protester och kämpande emot, men när hon väl kommer ut har hon ätit, druckit och balat, skitit, sedan snabbt in till äggen.
Hur är det, ska man låta henne ligga sista dagen? Hon stretar ju emot och om inte annat är jag lite rädd att hon ska ha sönder ett kläckfärdigt ägg i processen. Har också hört att hönan inte går av äggen de sista dagarna, även om de ligger så att de annars kan gå ut och gör det fram till dess.

Om du hade ut henne idag, skulle jag nog låta henne ligga kvar- det kan ju va så att det bara tar 20 dar ;D ;D

Tack för svar - ja, jag hade henne ute idag. Hon verkade ha väldigt bråttom att kasta i sig lite käk, snabb-bad, flög tillbaks till redet.
Så då låter jag henne vara i morgon - men stackars lilla hönan, hon har bara ätit några munfullar om dagen under snart en månad, hur ska hon klara att vara utan mat i flera dar i streck. - Som sagt, hon har mat tillgänglig men tittar inte åt den.
