Man bygger ett stenvalv över en utgrävd håla i en sluttning.
Gräv först till lämplig form, se till att få stabilt underlag för valvet med stenmurar på fast underlag och fyll sedan igen hålet så att man får en bärning av grus när man murar valvet. Det går eventuellt bra att lava sten på sten i lösmur först och smäcka in bruk i mellanrummen sedan uppifrån. Har du gjort rätt står valvet kvar sedan när du krafsar ut gruset.
