Har gjort min första feta på getmjölk, men den är liksom som "gummi" i konsistensen, jag vill hellre ha den lite mer "krämig".
Sen tyckte jag den blev på tok för salt, enligt receptet här på forumet skulle den ligga i saltlag 5-12 dygn och min låg 5 dygn och ändå blev den jättesalt - varför? Sen undrar jag om man kan återanvända saltlagen?
När jag sedan tärnar upp den och lägger den i olja, vilken olja är att föredra?

Saltlake, ska du ha en salt lake så du kan äta den direkt så gör jag så att jag lägger den i 8% salt. 80 g salt/L vatten. I så svag saltlake så "mognar" osten, men ett par, tre månader är inga problem.
Glöm bara inte att sänka PH på laken till samma som osten, ex slå i liiiiiiiiiiiite vinäger i laken. Denna svagare lake ska du inte använda om, utan göra ny för varje ost!
Är osten försalt, släng ner den i kallt vatten och vattna ur den tills den fått lagom sälta!
