Finns det någon som vet hur man bäst tar tillvara frön från gurka?
Har lämnat en stor fin kvar på en planta som fått mogna fram till gul färg.

Just gurka har jag aldrig tagit frö från, men jag brukar fröodla squash och de är ju ganska lika. Jag låter frukten sitta kvar på plantan till första frosten och då tar jag in den och låter den ligga i rumstemperatur nån dag. Sen öppnar jag den, skrapar ur fröna, tvättar dem lätt med kallt vatten och brer ut dem för att torka på ett uppsugande underlag (jag har en gammal tygblöja, men en handduk eller hushållspapper går nog lika bra). När de är helt torra, efter en eller två veckor, lägger jag dem i papperspåsar.

Roligt, vi står inför precis samma frågeställning! Min enorma Soyo long (gul) har legat ute och "ruttnat" sedan skörd. Har sedan skrapat ur fröna och låtit torka. Ser fram emot grobarhetstest till våren. Har inte tagit egna frön från den tidigare, återkommer till våren med kommentarer...
