Har 5 veckor gamla kycklingar. När är dom redo att lämna hemmets och mammas trygga vingar och ge sig ut på egna? Vågar jag släppa ihop dom med pappa än? ??? ???

Jag släpper ihop mina vid ca 2 veckors ålder, kan bli något senare lite beroende på vädret då mitt hönhus har en ingång som är 40-50cm hög. De har då gått i egen bur i hönshuset sedan de kläcktes så alla djuren har sett varandra hela tiden.

Ok. Nu har inte pappan sett dom. Han har hört dom dock. Spelar rasen någon roll? Jag har Gammal svensk dvärghöna.

Oj - min pappatupp fick se sina kycklingbarn från början och var mycket beskyddande på en gång.
Är det olämpligt att ha dom tillsammans på en gång??? ???

I min grupp så går dom ilag , men den första veckan så sätter jag upp ett litet staket , för att dom andra hönsen ska våga sig in för mamma höna kan vara nog så vaktande, tuppen äter ilag med dom små nu efter några dagar.
Kycklingarna som jag kläcker själv får vänta mycket längre innan dom får gå ilag med gruppen.

Släppte ihop dom igår. Tuppen sträckte upp dom rejält när dom kom för nära men imorse så verkade dom trivas i varandras sällskap. ;D

I torsdags var Gullhönas kyckling en vecka. Idag är 3:e dan de går ute fritt som alla de andra hönsen, katterna och hunden. Bara att hoppas det går bra men Gullhöna är aggressiv. Hynnan fick backa idag när hon kom för nära.............. ;D
