Har ett par stora buskar av körsbärskornell (Cornus mas) som har massvis med bär. De är ätliga, men jag har inga bra recept på vad man kan göra med dem - de har ju en ganska stor kärna och smakar en aning strävt (inte alls så mycket som slånbär, dock). Det enda recept jag hittat är på inlagda bär i ättika (inte så användbart), de kan tydligen också läggas in eller syltas som cocktailbär.
Någon som har prövat dem i något - saft, sylt, gelé?

Om du har mycket bär kan du köra dem i Saftmaja. Om du väntar med sockret kan du söta i efterhand och då även bestämma om du ska tillsätta pektin, -gele, eller bara socker, -saft. Vill du ha med bärmassan kan du prova att frysa dem innan du tar rätt på det. Då är de lättare att kärna ur.
