God dag!
Ibland blir man positivt överraskad, den förstga är att de blomme/lohman korsningar vi köpte som kycklingar i våras har lagt ägg utan extra värme eller ljus i hösnhuset och gör det fortfarande. Den andra är att nu har vår lilla höna ruvat fram 3 små kycklingar. Två av dem är tecknade med svart och gula vingar, den sista är gul med svart streck på huvudet (se bilder) Har jag fått två tuppar och en höna eller tvärt om?

Det är osannolikt att du kan avgöra könen på en sådan korsning med hjälp av färgen. Det kan lika gärna vara tre tuppar eller tre hönor ;) Det ät bara att vänta och se när dom blir större. Skulle tro att man kan ge en mer kvalificerad gissning när kycklingarna är 3-5 veckor.

Okej, tack för det svaret! Tänkte mest när de var sådan markant skillnad och skarpa kontraster att det kunde vara könsvisande som en del raser har. Men då får vi se vad det blir!
