Jag undrar vad ni har för erfarenheter av olika cellstorlekar. T.ex 4,9 5,1 eller 5,3.
Jag skall nämligen dra i gång med biodling och skulle gärna ta del av eran erfarenhet :).

Små celler = små bin
Stora celler = stora bin.
Man ska kanske inte gå från 5.3 till 4.9 helt och hållet på samma år i yngelkammare , blir lite svår över gång för bierna som kommer resulterar i en massa fri bygge.

Någonstans så måste du börja. Om det är stora bin från start så bör du börja med det måttet. Annars så tappar du fart i onödan. För binas del så betyder stor eller liten cell ingenting. Och när det gäller varroan så är det ren bluff att det skulle påverka

Vet du mer om undersökningen? Hittade inte mycket info på hemsidan. Möjligt att det var en vetenskaplig undersökning men det står inget om under vilken tid det här undersöktes. 3 samhällen känns lite tunt för en seriös vetenskaplig undersökning.

Nej jag vet inte något mer om undersökningen, jag basera att undersökningen var seriös pga. den var på P-O sida och den som hade gjort undersökningen har gjort den som ett examens arbete på universitet. Om du googlar på hennes namn och varroa så hittar du andra som har publicerat artikeln och diskuterat runt den.
