Jag har oxå en höna som tappar fjädrar så det inte är klokt. Ingen pickar på henne. I höstas då den stora ruggningen var igång, ruggade hon pyttelite. Kan en del ha fel på livscykeln?

Ung höns brukar inte rugga kraftigt första året på hösten utan småtappar fjädrar hela tiden till sin andra höst.Då brukar de rugga ordentligt om de får.
En annan anledning kan vara att man hade lampan tänd i höstas och då förskjuts ruggningen en tid eller att lyset släcktes,då brukar hönsen börja rugga på en vecka.
Ruggning styrs av ljuset,när det blir mörkare så tappar de fjädrar.

Jamen nu börjar det ju ljusna!? Har haft lampan tänd 12 h om dygnet hela vintern.

En av mina hönor som är väl just under året gammal nu, ruggade för nån månad sedan. Jag tror bara att en del följer sin egen rytm. Jag har också haft tänt hela vintern.
Det blir säkert nån ordning på det där ska du se, nästa höst ruggar hon igen :)
