Jag kikade i en kupa genom glasskivan idag, då kröp det i springan mellan glas och täckbräda upp små larver!!
Vill ju veta vad det är för foreigners mina bin har besök av. Bina var för övrigt pigga och jag såg inget ovanligt, som vaxmottsnät eller så.
Har i en timma suttit och letat på nätet utan hitta nåt ställe med bilder på olika små larver, nån som kan tipsa kanske?
Tror inte det ger nåt, men så här ser de ut: Jämnsmal, ljusgul, rödaktigt huvud, liten brunaktig rand i nacken.
Storleken var på de småttigaste ½ mm bred, ca 4-5 mm lång, de större 1 mm tjock och ca 7-8 mm lång :-\
Edit: Hade små hårstrån över hela kroppen också.

Blä :-X , ta bort dessa ramar som kommer bli till ett smitt härd , de har ingen funktion kvar i kupan !
Låter som lik maskar eller något dylikt :-X bort ska de.
En sund och friskt kupa ska det vara , ingen som ruttnar , det ända som ska krypa i kupan är bin o:)

Det kan vara lilla vaxmallarver. Och då hjälper det inte att ta bort ramar. Vaxmalen finns kvar ändå.

Så om man har en möglig skitig ram över sållade med mask ska man låta den sitta kvar?

Naturligtvis inte! Men även om du får bort det du ser så finns det mer kvar. Tyvärr

Ja, jag kommer verkligen ta bort allt synligt sen när värmen kommit så man kan öppna hos dem.
Jag gjorde rent bottnarna dagen efter jag hittade larverna, där var det faktiskt några små kokonger fastspunna, tyder ju tyvärr på vaxmalen :-\ Men inget ruttet, så likmask är det nog inte.
Endast ett 30-tal torra döda bin från i vinter, känns ju iaf lite positivt, det är mycket liv i kupan oxå, mat har de i utkanten av ramarna jag såg, skönt.
Längtar verkligen efter att rensningsflykten ska bli av så jag kan öppna och kolla och byta ut läbbiga ramar.
Men den där vaxmalen som det antagligen är, den verkar jag få dras med ett tag till då...?
