Hej!
Vet ni vad tomt och tyst det blev, igår slaktade vi sju tuppar, höken hade redan tagit två, och behöll bara en. Nu är det så tomt att gå ut på gårdsplanen och lite trist att inte mina tuppar alla i olika färger kommer och tugger matrester. Nåväl, får hoppas att vi valde rätt tupp att behålla, det var helt klart ett annat läte i morse när bara en tupp gol! Tror att grannarna är ganska nöjda ;) Och hoppas att höken håller sig borta!

Ja visst blir det tomt och tyst när tuppar försvinner! Du får hoppas på bättre galande nästa år. :)

Nog blir det tyst när man gallrar bort tuppar. Har ca 18 tuppar på 4 flockar. Ska gallra hos mina blommehöns som är den största flocken som har 30 hönor och 9 tuppar. Vilket märks på konkurrensen. Så jag ska ta bort minst 4 tuppar i allafall. Snart ska de få nya vänner och då blir det en ny tupp samt några nya hönor.
