Trivs vaktlar och höns tillsammans?

Jag hade mina i samma utrymme men vaktlarna i egen bur. Vid städning släppte vaktlarna på golvet med höns och tänkte att det är roligt för dom springa runt lite. 2 timmar senare när kom tillbaka hade hönsen ätit upp en vaktel :-X usch va dåligt samvete fick efter det.

Planera alltid för egen bur till vaktlarna.
Vaktlar går för visso väldigt bra att hålla ihop med vissa dvärghöns (egen erfarenhet :D )men det kan lika gärna sluta med sönderhackade och genom stressade vaktlar (också egen erfarenhet :-X :( )
Det är en väldigt stor skillnad på hur olika höns beter sig mot vaktlar.....

Jag har haft både kinesiska vaktlar och japanska vaktlar ihop med mina mesar, holländska dvärghöns, chabo och seramor.

Såg denna tråd först nu. Kanske sent för trådskaparen men om fler har samma fundering så kan ju jag bidra med min erfarenhet.
Jag tycker mina vaktlar blir lugnare av att gå med hönsen. Inte lika flaxiga som de annars kan vara i större utrymmen och ja, helt enkelt lugnare. Hönsen styr å ställer lite med dem, de får rätta sig efter hönsen, men inte mer än att de liksom är lägst i rang. Inte mobbing.
Så är det hos mig!
