Kan någon tala om för mig vad peking- och myskankor har för färg på köttet ???

Myskens kött är mörkt. Det är viltfärgat.

Vad jag undrar över är om pekingankans kött har samma färg.

Vanliga ankor så som Peking mfl har ljusare kött än Myskankorna.

Har slaktat 15 pekingankor som alla har mörkt kött och alltså är mulankor. Hade en peking dam med två pekingdrakar som alltid gick tillsammans. De gav upphov till 26 ällingar som vuxit upp och inte går att skilja från föräldrarna på utseendet.

Mulankor brukar se annorlunda ut än rena pekinganko. Tänk också på att djur som går ute och rör på sig får mörkare kött än djur som föds upp inne på små ytor. Såg dina ällingar ut som dina peking så var dom förmodligen det. Vanligt ankkött är mörkare än köpekylling även om det som regel inte är riktigt lika mörkt som myskankkött.

Jag tycker "vanligt" ankkött ser lite gråbrunfärgat ut medan myskisarnas är betydligt mörkare, nästan som mörkt lilarödaktigt på vissa områden.
