Nu har jag skaffat ett stort skåp i trä ca 180 cm högt som ska delas i två hyllplan och avsett för kycklingar att bo i. ( Kommer inte ihåg exakta längd och bredd måtten men har för mig att det är 120 x 60 cm).
Ursprungligen är det en specialbyggd lyxvilla för tamråttor som jag fått köpa för det facila priset av 200:-. Vilket är mindre än vad virke, gångjärn och dörrnät skulle kosta om jag skulle byggt nåt motsvarande själv.
Det lär vara svårt att rodda in värmelampor där pga brandrisk etc så nu är det dags att planera att köpa två stycken värmetak lite senare i vår.
Men vilken sort är bäst rent tekniskt och skötselmässig? Prisvärdast? Läste nånstans att det fanns värmetak med termostat också. Nån som har erfarenhet av dessa?

Jag har ett värmetak från artic hen,utan termostat. Det är det minsta dom har så det ska få plats 20 kycklingar under.Men då ska det vara små kycklingar för mina klunsar får inte plats så många där under. Jag ångrar att jag inte köpte det större,så det kan jag rekomendera. Har funkat utan problem,lätt att ta isär och tvätta av med.
