Hej!
Vi har haft höns snart ett år och funderar på att utöka med en till hönsras.
Hur kan man göra för att få hönsen att ruva "andra" ägg än sina egna?

Hej!Man plockar bort äggen som hon lagt sig på,och ersätter med dom ägg du vill att hon ska ruva på.Man kan låta henne ligga på fuskägg ett tag innan man lägger dit special äggen,så man vet att hon ligger kvar.

Nej, kylen är dumt. Man förvarar ägg som ska kläckas stående i ett äggfack, med spetsiga änden nedåt. Man tippar äggfacket, gärna minst 2 gånger per dygn, genom att ställa ena änden på något och sedan vända äggfacket 180 grader. Lagom temperatur är 10-15 grader, men rumstemperatur är bättre än kylskåpstemperatur. Har inte äggen fraktats har de bra kläckbarhet i ca 3 veckor, har de skickats så är ca 2 mer sant, och äggen ska inte vara mer än 7 dagar när de skickas iväg.
Bäst är att ge ruvhönorna fejkägg, och när de legat stabilt 2-3 dagar, så hämtar man de riktiga äggen, färska, och lägger under hönan.
