Min ena myskhona har legat och ruvat i några veckor. Jag har inte sett henne kliva av äggen en enda sekund, varken för att äta eller dricka och hennes mask har antagit en ganska blek kulör.
Nu till min oro. Jag tittade till henne alldeles nyss (normala kvällsrundan) och då väste hon, som om hon var andfådd. Det har varit väldigt varmt idag, och hon ligger ordentligt inbäddad i dun. Jag försökte erbjuda henne mat och vatten (till och med tvinga lite med vattnet) men hon ville inte ha något.
Är det någon som har någon teori om vad det kan vara med henne? Så vitt jag kan bedöma saken är det åtminstone en vecka kvar till planerad kläckning, och inga ägg visar sprickor ännu. Vad ska man göra? Ska man göra något alls? =S

se till att det finns mat och vatten tillgängligt och låt ankan vara. Den väser för att den tror att du ska ta eller skada hennes ägg. Helt normalt

Ankan har mat och vatten hos sig, alltid.
Hon låter inte som en myskanka normalt låter när hon väser, jag har haft ankor länge så jag vet hur de brukar låta, utan detta lät ansträngt som en människa med astma ungefär! Jag har aldrig hört varken henne eller någon annan av mina ankor låta på det viset, och det är bara därför jag är orolig. Hon hörs på långt håll, och normalt är hon tyst till och med när jag är helt nära henne. Kan det vara att hon är överhettad på något sätt kanske, eller krasslig? *orolig*
